                    Learning Outcomes          At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                               1.   Explain the theories of fundamental psychology.
                                               2.   Discuss the scientific method of psychological evaluation.
                                               3.   Participate in discussions on the evolution of psychology and the major pioneers
                                                  in the field.
                    Synopsis of Course Contents   This course provides the understanding of how psychology as an academic field came
                                               to be, as well as understanding  the  fundamentals of  psychological  theories that  will
                                               form  the  basis  of sports  psychology  in the future.  This course will  also  cover
                                               fundamental  aspects  of  how  psychology  is  measured  and  studied  in  a  scientific
                                               manner.

                    Learning Outcomes          At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                                  1.   Evaluate the principles and techniques in the evaluation and measurement
                                                     of physical fitness and sports skills.
                                                  2.   Prepare a proposal to conduct testing and measurement.
                                                  3.   Design a method for data collection and analysis.
                                                  4.   Compare data acquisition in sports qualitatively and quantitatively.
                    Synopsis of Course Contents   This  course  discusses  concepts,  theories,  principles  and  techniques  of  testing,
                                               measurement  and  evaluation  in fitness, skills  in sports.  Measurements  will  also  be
                                               conducted  to  assess  the  cognitive  and  affective  aspects  of  the  sport,  method  of
                                               formation evaluation tool, administration and management assessments in laboratory
                                               and outside laboratory operated practically. Quantitative analysis of the test results will
                                               be  interpreted  and  evaluated through  applied  statistics.  Qualitative analysis  is  also
                                               included so that students can make a qualitative analysis of movement in sports.
