               To achieve the above objectives, emphasis will be given to ensure that sports management graduates
               will acquire the following skills:

                1.  A Practioner           -  Involved in and understand the needs of sports profesional.
                2.  A Manager              -  Possess strong understanding and skills in management principles
                                              and able to undertake management tasks.
                3.  A Leader               -  Possess leadership skills and have confidence to become a leader
                                              and initiator.
                4.  A Decision Maker       -  Possess rational mindset and the ability to make sound judgements
                                              and decisions in related fields.
                5.  A Wise Communicator    -  Able  to  communicate  wisely  and  capable  of  delivering  sports
                                              management knowledge to others.



                  STRUCTURE, DURATION AND METHOD OF DELIVERY


               This is a full-time study programme of 125 credit hours in which students must register and pass all
               courses with a minimum grade of C. The structure of the programme is as follows:

               Why is the font size of University Courses and Faculty Core Courses bigger than prog Core courses
               etc? Is it on purpose?
               In addition, students are required to enrol and pass Elective Courses and External Faculty Elective
               Courses as determined by the University from time to time.

               (1)  Minimum period   = 7 semesters
               (2)  Maximum period  = 11 semesters.
               Method of delivery is through a combination of teaching approaches such as: lecture sessions which
               are  face  to  face  (F2F);  integrated  learning  (e.g.  tutorial  and  group  discussion,  forum,  seminar,  and
               research  project),  student-centred  learning  (e.g.  field  work,  written  assignments,  presentation)  and
               internship (practical).




                 METHOD OF ASSESSMENT AND WEIGHTAGE



               Student progress is evaluated through various methods, including academic exercise/project papers
               that  comprise  written  assignments,  projects,  seminar  and  theoretical  analysis.  The  weightage  of
               assessment  for  all  courses  under  the  Bachelor  of  Sports  Science  (except  those  offered  by  other
               faculties) is as follows:

               1. Courses    : Continuous Assessment - 60% and Final Exam - 40%
               2. Seminar    : Continuous Assessment - 100%
               3. Internship   : Continuous Assessment - 100%
               Although assignments, projects and class tests are important, the final exam is emphasized within the
               structure of the curriculum through specific courses that has been fixed with the percentage of 40%.
