Library
With a current total collection of more than a
million titles, UM Library consists of a Central
Library, one of the largest in Malaysia, which
provides library facilities for the whole
campus and a network of special libraries to
meet the specific needs of faculties. The
collection comprises books, journals,
conference proceedings, audio-video,
microform, theses and dissertations. UM
Library also offers access to electronic
resources such as e-journals, databases,
citation indexes, and bibliographic
management software.

24-Hours Security

The Universiti Malaya Security Office is
responsible for the safety and security of the
campus community. A dedicated security
team consisting of auxiliary police has been
leading the 24-hours patrol and security
system on campus. The Security Office
provides 24-hour security service. In any case
of a security emergency, immediately call
the security office at these numbers:
