NOTES TO CONTRIBUTORS

Information About the Journal
Jurnal PPM: Journal of Malaysian Librarians is published annually by Persatuan
Pustakawan Malaysia (Librarians Association of Malaysia). The journal publishes original
articles on all aspects of library and information science and invites contributions from
librarians, information scientists, educators, administrators, publishers, and other
interested persons.

Types of Contributions
The journal publishes original articles on all aspects of library and information science.

Submission Requirements
Only submit one (1) copy of the manuscript.

Format
Manuscripts can be written either in the English or Malay language. However,
manuscripts must be accompanied by abstracts written in both the English language and
the Malay language.

Manuscripts should preferably be 2,500-5,000 words in length and must be word
processed single spaced throughout (including notes and references). Authors are
encouraged to submit manuscripts using at least Microsoft Word as an attached file with
your email. The font type required is Times New Roman, 11pt. The manuscript should
contain the following information:

Title of article,
Name(s) and affiliation of author(s),
Complete address(es) and e-mail address(es).
English abstract and five (5) keywords
Malay abstract with five (5) keywords

Accuracy of Material
It is the responsibility of the author to check the accuracy of all data, statements and
references.

Copyright
It is a condition of publication that manuscripts submitted to the journal have not been
published, accepted for publication nor simultaneously submitted for publication
elsewhere. By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) agree that copyright for the article
is transferred to the publisher, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Style
The style of the manuscript should follow The Chicago Manual of Style, 14th ed.
(Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1993).
