Way Forward

As AUNDPPnetapproaches its first decade of existence, the Network continues to reaffirm its dedication to advancing
disabilityinclusive education and public policy within the ASEAN region. Our journey thus far has been marked by

significant progress, yet our missionremains ongoing to ensure that are fully included and empowered within
higher education and society.
In line with the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those promoting quality education,
-
equality, and inclusion, AUNDPPnet remains dedicated in its commitment to fostering sustainable and inclusive
development across ASEAN. Sustainability and inclusivity will continue to be the guiding principles in shaping our
programmes, strategies, and partnerships in the years to come.
To achieve this, the Network will focus on strengthening several key areas:
• Institutional Commitment:
Reinforcing the Network’s vision, mission, strategic plans, and policies to

ensure alignment with longterm goals for inclusivity and empowerment.
• Governance and Resources:
Enhancing systems, staff recruitment, facilities, and financial
sustainability to build a resilient and efficient operational structure.
• Partnership among Member Universities:
Deepening global engagement, expert sharing, and collaborative research
to expand AUNDPPnet’s regional and international reach.

Promoting leadership development and capacity building for

initiatives.
Through these concerted efforts, AUNDPPnet aims to build and sustain a truly inclusive ASEAN region as one that

celebrates diversity, empowers individuals with disabilities, and upholds the principles of equality, dignity, and shared
progress for all.
