    On  13  April  2022,  Associate  Professor  Dr  Rosmadi  Fauzi  This  talk  is  a  result  of  the  Royal  Malaysia  Police  Force

    programme  held  at  the  Royal  Malaysian  Police  College  Application  and  the  National  Geopolitical  training  in

    Malaysia  Police.  His  lecture  covered  the  importance  of  sending hei officers for their Masters and PhD in GIS and
    understanding  Geographic  Information  System  (GIS),  a  Political studies. Currently, Associate Professor Dr Rosmadi
    computer    system    that   analyses   and    displays   remains  the  only  GIS  expert  in  the  field  of  elections  in
    geographically  referenced  information,  and  its  possible  Malaysia.

        Modernising the Malaysia Maritime Industry

    On  22  April  2022,  the  Department  of  Southeast  Asian
    Studies proudly held a virtual seminar entitled “Application
    of  Industry  4.0  in  the  Maritime  Industry”  as  part  of  its
    seminar series. The speaker was Mr. Nazery Khalid, adjunct
    professor at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and
    Taylor’s  University  as  well  as  the  Distinguished  Fellow  at
    the  Maritime  Institute  of  Malaysia.  He  is  a  well-known
    commentator and scholar in the field of maritime studies.


    Mr. Nazery began with an introduction of the four phases
    of the industrial revolution. He pointed out that the current  Mr. Nazery (top left) with some of the department paticipants

    technology.  IR  4.0  fuses  different  technologies  and  stakeholders must embrace and adapt to IR 4.0. Otherwise,
