Modernising the Malaysia Maritime Industry

On 22 April 2022, the Department of Southeast Asian
Studies proudly held a virtual seminar entitled “Application
of Industry 4.0 in the Maritime Industry” as part of its
seminar series. The speaker was Mr. Nazery Khalid, adjunct
professor at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and
Taylor’s University as well as the Distinguished Fellow at
the Maritime Institute of Malaysia. He is a well-known
commentator and scholar in the field of maritime studies.
