Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:-
1. Discuss issues related to high performance sport.
2. Apply leadership skills in organizing and managing team/athletes
3. Evaluate skills related to decision making and problems solving in high performance
sport management
Synopsis of Course Contents This course is related to the management of high performance sport in the pre-, during- and
post-season competitions. Differences between team and individual athlete management are
also highlighted. At the end of the course, students are required to analyse one team
competing in a selected tournament and discuss other relevant issues.

Synopsis of Course Contents This course will explain the theoretical approaches and concept of sport community including
the management of special group of sport such as youth, elderly, women and disability.
Students will be able to compare and contrast conflicts related management of community
sport. As teaching and learning activity of this course will be interactive and practical, student
are able to understand the issues related community sport management more in-depth.
