C. UNIVERSITY SPECIAL SPORTS AWARD (Student)
This award is given to a student sports team that has shown excellent performance and fulfils the following
criteria:
1. Shown excellent performance and ability in MASUM/SUKIPT/IPT League and/or national Open Leagues
/ other participated competitions.
2. Shown excellent team performance in previous years
3. Always committed to the programmes organised by the Sports Centre.
4. Shown exemplary team leadership
5. Possess a clean record without any disciplinary action taken against any of the team players by any sports
bodies or the university.
D. UNIVERSITY SPECIAL SPORTS AWARD (Student)
(Selected by the Sports Centre, UM)
This award is given to student athletes who have shown excellent performance and high ability in sports.
The winner of the award is chosen based on the following criteria:
1. Represented the country (national team) as an athlete, team official or technical official in any sport.
2. Possess a clean record without disciplinary action taken against him/her from any sports bodies or
the university.
E. EXCELLENT UNIVERSITY TEAM AWARD (Student)
(Selected by the Sports Centre, UM)
This award is given to student sports teams that have shown excellent sports performance and fulfils the
following criteria:
1. Became champions in inter-university level sports in the year of nomation.
2. Always committed to the programmes organised by the Sports Centre.
3. Possess a clean record without any disciplinary action taken against any of the team players by any
sports bodies or the university.
F. UNIVERSITY FULL COLOUR AWARD (Student)
This award is given to student athltes who have met the following criteria:
1. Reprensented the University of Malaya team and was the main player in the game for at least the final
two years of studies or three consecutive years.
2. Only eligible to win this once throughout study at the University of Malaya
3. Represented MASUM in the ASEAN Unviersity Games or SIPMA or represented the state in SUKMA
level or other national championship during his / her studies at the university and to provide a letter of
declaration from the sports associaiton as proof, including certificate of participation.
4. Possess a clean record without disciplinary action taken against him / her by any sports bodies or the
university.
5. Achieved high academic excellence of at least CGPA 2.5 in the latest exam except for postgraduate
students by research.
G. UNIVERSITY HALF COLOUR AWARD (Student)
This award is given to student athletes who have achieved the following criteria:
1. Reprensented the University of Malaya team and was the main player in the game for at least the final
two years or three consecutive years.
2. Only eligible to win this once throughout study at the University of Malaya
3. Shown excellent performance and ability in MASUM/SUKIPT/IPT League and/or national Open
Leagues / elite invitation sports competitions.
