Contents evolving economic issues in ASEAN Economic
Cooperation and Integration since its establishment in
1967. It covers a range of economic issues of ASEAN,
focusing on the evolution of regional economic
cooperation, leading to the realisation of the economic
pillar of the ASEAN Community. It starts with a critical

Blueprint goals and the arguments behind its slow
implementation by examining the four pillars in the AEC.
The course concludes by assessing the RCEP and the
future of economic cooperation and integration in ASEAN
