            Synopsis

                   This  course  is  designed  to  prepare  graduate  students  in  TESOL  to  critically  evaluate  published
            research in their field and to design their own research studies. Under the guidance of supervisors, students
            gain insights, practical techniques and skills in research design, data analysis and dissertation writing. Students
            will present their own work to seminar for discussion, critique and advice.

            Assesment  Method    : Continuous Assessment (Test, Assignment, Presentation): 70%,
                                            Examination : 30%

                   This course explains about evaluation in Arabic Language as a second language. Students will be
            exposed  to  theories,  concepts,  approaches  and  stages  in  the  evaluation  of  Arabic  Language  as  a  second
            language. Students will also present topics related to the course.
