Synopsis:
This course is design to introduce students to elements and conventions of prose writing, particulary in literary texts written in
English. Through relevant activities that allow them to identify, discuss and also evaluate the effectiveness of elements and
conventions of prose writing, students will learn to appreciate literatures writen in English.
Assessment Method : Assignment - 60%, Examination - 40%

PXET1107 - WRITING ABOUT LITERATURE (2 Credit Hours)
Synopsis:
The course is designed as an introduction to ways of writing effectively, combining the study of language with the analysis of
literary texts. In this way, students will learn to appreciate literature through deepening their proficiency in the language;
whilst as the same time, the experience of reading literary texts will help students use language in a more effective way.
