Synopsis This course is designed to enhance students’ knowledge in sampling and survey
methods. Part one introduces students to various stages of a survey including planning,
coverage, methods of data collection and questionnaire design.

Part two covers various probability sampling techniques (such as simple random
sampling, stratified random sampling, cluster sampling and systematic sampling), and
                             non-probability sampling techniques.

Students will also learn the basic techniques in analyzing survey data and report writing.
