Master of Economics (MEc)

Vision

To be a globally recognised postgraduate programme in economics.

Mission

To advance knowledge in economics by equipping students with academic and
professional skills for the nation and for humanity.

Programme Goal

To produce graduates with necessary research skills for analysing economics problem
effectively.

Programme Learning Outcomes

At the end of the programme, graduates are able to:

(1) Identify and discuss economic problems. (PO1)
(2) Apply qualitative, quantitative and ICT skills to assess economic problems. (PO2)
(3) Respond to social issues and behave responsibly towards society and the environment.
(PO3)
(4) Practise ethical and professional values. (PO4)
