Learning At the end of this course, the students are able to:
Outcomes
1. summarize statistical information from databases ;
2. construct procedures for statistical analysis using selected computer languages;
and
3. apply statistical analysis and graphical analysis on real data set.
Synopsis This course exposes student to the use of programmeming to extract statistical
information from databases. Programmeming concepts and databases are taught
using computer software. Programmeming concepts include topics like data types,
programmeming structure, built in functions and programmemer defined
procedures. Database concepts include database development, records, data
manipulation, reporting and queries. These concepts are used to develop an
information system that links programmemes to databases.
