              Learning        At the end of this course, students are able to:
              Outcomes
                              1. identify basic concepts and perspectives of community   development;
                              2. evaluate   the   importance    of   community    development     in   national
                                development;and
                              3. analyse various strategies and issues of community development arising from
                                the development process of nations.

              Synopsis        This  course  exposes  students  to  basic  knowledge,  strategies  and  issues  of
                              community  development.  Topics  covered  include  concepts,  theoretical
                              perspectives, context, models of and approaches to community development.
