MID 3020: Clinical Nursing Practice VI

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course students are able to:
1. Implement individualised plan of care to meet the health needs of patients with
orthopaedics, eye, ear, nose and throat disorder, psychiatric and geriatric conditions.(P2)
2. Perform nursing skills related to orthopaedic, eye, ear, nose and throat, psychiatric and
geriatric care. (P2)
3. Practice collaborative nursing to deliver a safe and effective patient-centred care. (A2)
Course Synopsis:
This course provides clinical experiences in orthopaedic, opthalmology, otorhinolaryngology,
psychiatric and geriatric care in wards and clinics. It gives opportunity for students to practice nursing
care and perform related nursing procedures.
