Introduction to composite materials. Various types of matrix and Project supervisor
reinforcements and its properties. Mechanical properties of single and
multi layered composite materials. Fatigue and environmental effects of ELECTIVE COURSES
composite materials and its applications..
SMEB3301 LABVIEW PROGRAMMING
Assessment Method:
Final Examination: 60% Students are placed in a laboratory equiped with computers with
Continuous Assessment: 40% labview program and corresponding hardware teaching module. The
students will be taught the basic functions of Labview program and with
Medium of Instruction: that would be exposed to use Labview to write more advanced
English programming and simulations. Subsequently, the student will be taught
to apply Labview for instrument interfacing using the supplied hardware
Soft-skills: module. Finally the student will be introduced to programming of
CS3, CT3, LL2 multiple measuments sequences using the said module and will be
taught to write synchronization program for the measurements.
