Q (Students): What is most significant achievement
of the Faculty of Science, beneficial to students?

A (Professor Dr Zanariah Abdullah): We have
received the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry,
UK accreditation for all the bachelor programmes
offered in the Department Chemistry; which are B.Sc.
Chemistry, B.Sc. Applied Chemistry and also M.Sc. in
Analytical Chemistry & Instrumental Analysis. We are
the 1st University in Malaysia to get this
international accreditation. The recognition could
also enhance the employability of our graduates and
allow them to be accepted worldwide.
