Accreditation Policy



            2.2.2 Submission of PSAR

            The accreditation visit shall be deferred if the submitted documents are of unacceptable quality, or do not follow
            the required format of the Standard. In such a case, the programme owner shall resubmit the application. Failure to
            do so in a timely manner may result in the frozen of student intake.
               If the submitted documents have followed the required format, but the contents are found to be inadequate,
            the programme owner is required to provide further information, or clarification. If the programme owner does not
            provide further information within 7 days, the evaluation visit may be cancelled.



            2.2.3 Submission of Programme Improvement Plan (PIP)

            Based on the summary report given by the Panel of Assessors, the programme owner is required to prepare the
            Programme Improvement Plan (PIP) to address the recommendations given by the panel. This must be done within
            2 weeks.

               If the submit PIP is not acceptable by the panels, the Panels can request the programme owner to redo the PIP
            and resubmit.



            2.3 ACCREDITATION PANEL

            The evaluation exercise shall be conducted by an Evaluation Panel (consisting of three (3) members) for provisional,
            full and re-accreditation. At LEAST ONE of the panel members MUST be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) from another
            university.



            2.4 ACCREDITATION DECISION

            Upon completion of the accreditation exercise, JKSA and senate will consider the conferment of the accreditation
            status to the academic programme based on the following:
               a)  Final assessment report.
               b)  Programme improvement plan
               c)  Programme sustainability index.
               d)  Summary report from the Head of Panel
