Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Discuss the terminology used in the body organization, integumentary, skeletal,
muscular, nervous, endocrine systems and biology of cell to describe the structure
and their location on the body.
2. Label structures and locations in the body for the integumentary, skeletal,
muscular, nervous, endocrine systems and biology of cell.
3. Describe the function of all physiological systems in the human body for the
integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine systems and biology of
cell.
Synopsis of Course Contents Students will be exposed to human anatomy and the terms related to it. This course will
also cover the physiological processes that begin with the cell biology. Part of the focus
and objective of this course which is system based, will be related to human movement
with the emphasis on the nervous, muscular and skeletal systems. Other systems such
as the integumentary and endocrine are among other systems that will also be
emphasized.

respiratory, urinary, digestive and reproductive system to describe the structure
and their location in the body.
2. Label the structures and locations in the body for the cardiovascular, lymphatic,
immune, respiratory, urinary, digestive and reproductive system.
3. Describe the function of all physiological systems in the human body for the
cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, urinary, digestive, reproductive
systems including human development and metabolism.
Synopsis of Course Contents Students will be exposed to the terminology related to human anatomy and the
physiological processes of the human body. This system based course will mainly focus
on the cardiovascular, respiratory systems and human development. In addition, the
digestive system and metabolism are among other system that will also be emphasized.
