                          Course Learning Outcomes   At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                                     1. Explain the concepts sport management.
                                                     2. Aplly sport management principles and skills in the context of sport industry
                                                     3. Demonstrate problem solving and leadership skills sport management practice.

                          Synopsis of Course Contents   This  course  exposes  basic  Sport  Management  concept  to  students.  Students  will  identify
                                                   applied  theory  of  Sport  Management  that  is  used  in  the  current  management  of  sport
                                                   organizations. Discussion on sport management as an academic discipline will also be made.
                                                   A visit to a selected sport organization will be conducted and students will be  asked to prepare
                                                   a comprehensive report documenting, analyzing and commenting on the managerial aspects
                                                   of the sport organization.

                                                   evolution of multiple schools of thoughts regarding this field of knowledge In addition, alternative
                                                   theories  such  Total  Quality  Management,  the  Management  Based  on  Objectives,  Oriental
                                                   thinking, Islam-based Management and Cross-breed Malaysian Management Theory will be
                                                   reviewed and discussed in class.
