                     Course Learning Outcomes   At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                               1.   Identify objectives and prospect of organising a sport event.
                                               2.   Explain the process involved in managing a sport event.
                                               3.   Apply knowledge and demonstrate skills by organising an actual sports event.
                     Synopsis of Course Contents   This course discusses the concept, approach and steps in managing sports/recreation events
                                               in a systematic, comprehensive and professional way. The focus  of teaching & learning will be
                                               on planning and managing skills of various aspects, such as: preparing a proposal, promotion
                                               & marketing, officials & volunteers, financial management, logistic, risk management, etc. This
                                               course  uses  a  ‘project-based-learning’  approach  so  the  understanding  and  knowledge
                                               application  of  the students  can  be  assessed  when  they  are
                                               given a task on organising an actual sport event.

                     Course Learning Outcomes   At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                               1.   Demonstrate the importance of social engagement.
                                               2.   Work in teams/groups and with the community.
                                               3.   Demonstrate good communication skills with Communities.
                     Synopsis of Course Contents   This course exposes students to community service and volunteerism. Students need to plan
                                               and  implement  community  engagement  programs  in  groups.  Students  are  also  required  to
                                               create a reflection journal to record self-transformation before, during and after the community
                                               engagement program as well as group freports and presentations based on experiences with
                                               the communities.

                     Synopsis of Course Contents   This course provides the basic concepts of entrepreneurship to students. They will learn how
                                               to  think  entrepreneurially  throughout  their  life.  They  will  also  discuss  different  skills  and
                                               characteristics of an entrepreneur. Students will improve their business skills by learning  about
                                               writing a business plan and presenting it in front of audience.
