At the end of the course, students are able to:

1 Mengenalpasti ayat-ayat al-quran dan teks-teks Hadith yang berkaitan dengan konsep
kepimpinan Islam.
Identify the quranic verses and the Hadith text which related to Islamic leadership concept.
2 Menyediakan garis panduan dan kaedah memilih pemimpin menurut pandangan Islam.
Provide guidelines and methods of electing leaders according to Islamic point of view.
3 Menganalisis kaedah permesyuaratan untuk kepimpinan dalam negara Islam.
Analyse the method of achieving consensus of leadership in Islamic state.

Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content

Kursus ini akan mendedahkan pelajar tentang konsep kepimpinan serta sumber kuasa politik
bersama institusi perwakilan politik dalam sistem pemerintahan sebuah negara menurut perspektif
Islam. Lanjutan itu konsep kepimpinan Islam mengikut al-Qur’an dan al-Sunnah akan dikupas. Selain
itu ia juga membincangkan persoalan penyerahan kuasa politik kepada pihak pimpinan dan peranan
Majlis al-Syura dalam kerajaan Islam.

This course will expose students to the concept of leadership in Islam as well as about the source of
political power and the political representation in a state from Islamic perspective. In addition to that
the concept of leadership in Islam according to the Quranic and the Sunnah of the Prophet will be
discussed in detail. The matter related to the political power transfer to a leader and the role of Majlis
al-Shura (Parliament) in Islamic governmental system.
