At the end of the course, students are able to:

1 Menjelaskan konsep asas sfera samawi serta faktor yang mempengaruhi kedudukan objek
samawi
Explain the basic concepts of the celestial sphere and factors that influence the position of
celestial objects
2 Menghitung koordinat sfera samawi dan menghuraikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi
kedudukan objek samawi seperti peliukan, kesan pembiasan cahaya, pemupusan
atmosfera, paralaks, kesan ketinggian tempat cerapan, separa garis pusat bulan dan
matahari
Calculate the coordinates of the celestial sphere and describe the factors that affect the
position of the celestial object such as the precession, the effect of refraction, atmospheric
extinction, parallax, the effect of observer’s altitude, semidiameter of the moon and the sun
3 Mengaplikasi konsep sfera samawi dan faktor kedudukan objek samawi dalam pencerapan
astronomi
Apply the concept of celestial sphere and position factor of celestial’s object in astronomy
observation

Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content

Dalam kursus ini juga pelajar belajar bagaimana untuk mengkaji tafsiran pengukuran dan prinsip
asas dalam sfera samawi.

In this course also students learn how to examine the interpretation of positional measurements
and the basic principles of celestial sphere.
