At the end of the course, students are able to:

1 Mengenalpasti disiplin pengajian Hadith dari aspek riwayah dan dirayah secara umum.
Identify the disciplines of Hadith studies from the perspectives of riwayah and dirayah in

2 Memperinci istilah-istilah khusus yang digunapakai dalam ilmu hadith.
Elaborate on the specific terminology used in Hadith studies.
3 Menjelaskan isu-isu utama yang berkaitan dengan Ulum al-Hadith.

Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content

Kursus ini membincangkan tentang ilmu hadith dari aspek riwayah dan dirayah serta memfokuskan
kepada disiplin-disiplin dalam ilmu hadith seperti dari sudut pembahagian hadith mutawatir dan ahad,
diterima dan ditolak serta istilah-istilah khusus yang digunapakai dalam ilmu hadith. Perbincangan
turut membahaskan tentang isu-isu utama yang berkaitan dengan Ulumal-Hadith.

This course discusses the study of Hadith from the perspectives of *riwayah* (narration) and
*dirayah* (critical understanding). It focuses on various disciplines within the study of Hadith,
including the classification of Hadith into *mutawatir* and *ahad*, accepted and rejected Hadith, as
well as the specific terminology used in Hadith studies. The course also examines key issues related
to *‘Ulum al-Hadith* (the sciences of Hadith).
