                At the end of the course, students are able to:

                  1     Mengenal pasti disiplin pengajian hadith dari aspek riwayah dan dirayah secara umum
                        Identify the  methods of  hadith studies especially regarding al-riwaya and al-diraya
                        (transmission and meaning) aspects.
                  2     Membincangkan istilah-istilah khusus yang digunapakai dalam ilmu hadith.
                        Discuss the specific terms used in the hadith terminology and types of both accepted and
                        rejected hadith.
                  3     Menjelaskan   isu-isu   utama    yang    berkaitan   dengan     ‘ulum   al-hadith.
                        Explain the main issues and supporting sciences related to the science of hadith.

                Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content

                Kursus ini membincangkan disiplin pengajian Hadith dari aspek riwayah dan dirayah secara umum.
                Di samping itu, kursus ini turut memperinci istilah-istilah khusus yang digunapakai dalam ilmu hadith
                seperti mutawatir dan ahad, penerimaan  dan penolakkan hadith dan istilah-istilah khusus  yang
                digunapakai dalam termenologi hadith. Kursus ini turut membincangkan tentang isu-isu utama yang
                berkaitan dengan Ulum al-Hadith.

                This course  will discuss the  hadith methodology  which focuses on the  Riwayah and  Dirayah
                (transmission and meaning) aspects. In this course certain aspects will be focused on such as the
                classification of hadith into Mutawatir and Ahad, the accepted and rejected hadith and the specific
                terms used in the hadith terminology. This course also discusses the main issues and supporting
                sciences concerned with the hadith studies.
