It takes two to tango. Not only were the students really nice, but
so was Puan Norma . Once, she accompanied the students to
Indonesia to visit universities in Bandung and Jakarta for a field
trip. As they visited universities around that area to learn and
exchange experiences, they also went to the famous tourist
spots there. Puan Norma proclaimed that this was one of her
best memories with the students. Not only that, Puan Norma
had always been very helpful to the students.

When there were not enough patients, Puan Norma and some
lecturers went to secondary school to do examinations and
diagnosis, to search for suitable cases for the students. Then,
they came up with a list to send the secondary school students

Hearing this story, we could sense the love, passion
and competence that Puan Norma had towards
helping her students. She did her best to ease the
students’ problems and to ensure that they completed
the requirements. Many years later, she finally retired
and left UM. And that is when the faculty has lost its
one precious gem. We will never find someone like
Puan Norma again.
