AUNDPPnet Scholars & Alumni
Visit
-
The AUNDPPnet Scholarsand Alumni Visitinitiative serves as a platform to strengthen engagement between the
Secretariat, the Director, and scholars across the ASEAN region. These visits are designed to provide a supportive
environment for scholars to share their academic journeys, experiences, and challenges as they pursuehigher
education. Through direct interactions, the visits enable meaningful dialogue, mentorship, and continuous connection
N
between the etwork and its scholars.
This initiative reflects AUNDPPnet’s commitment to ensure that the scholars do not only succeed academically but
-
are also supported emotionally throughout their studies. The meetings provide opportunities for scholars to express
their experiences related to accessibility, inclusion, and campus life, while allowing the Secretariat to gather valuable
feedback for programme enhancement. These engagements also strengthen the sense of belonging within the AUN
-
DPPnet community, fostering mutual learning and empowerment among participants.
Despite the challenges brought by the COVID19 pandemic, the Secretariat remained committed to maintain this
-
engagement by conducting an online meeting in 2020, enabling scholars and the Director to connect virtually and to
-
continue discussions on matters related to academic and personal development. As restrictions eased, in
person
visits resumed, including sessions at Mahidol University’s Ratchasuda College in Thailand and Universitas Airlangga
in
Indonesia. These visits allowed the Director to meet both current scholars and alumni, discuss their academic
progress, and explore potential collaborations to further promote inclusive education within partner institutions
.
