INTERNSHIP

Mr. Wan Ahmad Farihin bin Adzlan

Internship Company: Biosensors (Nanotechnology),
nanoSkunkWorkX Sdn Bhd

Some of the tasks that I have completed successfully
throughout my internship include:
1. Deposition of nanocomposite materials onto carbon
electrode surfaces via electro-polymerization.
2. .Electrochemical analysis/characterization of
functionalized nanomaterial surfaces.
3. QC at initial & final stages of production based on physical
inspection & electrochemical performance.
4. Third-party communication (QC report to contract
manufacturer, etc).
Developed professional qualities related to scientific research.
Provided insight to technology development from R&D to commercialization stages, as well as practices &
techniques commonly used in the industry.
Improved general skills such as communication, data analysis & presentation, time management in
production planning, & teamwork.

INTERNSHIP

Mr. Ubung Martin

Internship Company: Choices Privileges Mfg Sdn. Bhd.

To assist in quality assurance (QA) and quality check (QC)
on the production of food raw material such as honey,
maltose and golden syrup. Some of the QA and QC that
needed to be done include checking the pH, moisture of
the product, the brix of the product and many more. As
the production of some products involve the usage of
enzymes, I was exposed with the handling and use of the
enzymes in the process of cooking the food.

For someone that is interested in working in food manufacturing industry, the experience
was good. I wanted to work in a food and beverages industry, thus, doing an internship
here, should be good start for me. It is good to know that being a biotechnology’s student, it
does not mean you only have to work in the laboratory.
