Why did you choose this programme?

I chose Bachelor of Science in Environmental
Management because I have enormous
interest in environmental topics. I wanted to
pursue a degree and career that will enable
me to contribute to the environmental field.
UM is among the few institutions in Malaysia
which offers this program and I decided to
pursue my study in UM due to the university’s
academic reputation.

The programme helped me to land a job in the
manufacturing sector. Due to the rising
awareness on ESG matters and sustainability
reporting, industries are committed to
integrate sustainability into their business
operation and they need people from related
background. Bachelor of Science in
Environment Management equip graduates

with scientific and management knowledge
which fit in and is sought after by many
industries.
