Why did you choose this programme?

I chose this programme because I was
interested in Genetics and Molecular Biology
since my foundation studies at UM and the
program suits my passion to become a
biologist. One of the lecturers in Centre of
Foundation Studies UM (PASUM) is also a
Genetics graduate and this motivated me
more to pursue the program.

Head of Department Graduating from the renowned Universiti
Manufacturing cum R&D Malaya and the recommendations from my
Top Biotech Sdn. Bhd. lecturers had enhanced my graduate
employability, as I received 3 immediate job
offers as soon as I completed my studies. I
progressed from the Executive position to
the Head of Department in less than 2 years.

The highlight of the programme are the
industrial training and Final Year Project
modules where I was exposed to real-world
demands, working environment, latest
research updates and apply the knowledge
gained during lectures. I also got to engage
with the science and biology community
through various activities and improve my
soft skills.

The unique point of this programme is that it
comprises of well experienced lecturers with
outstanding research publications which
ensures that students gain in-depth, up-to-
date and industry-relevant knowledge.
