ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. HAIRUL ANUAR BIN TAJUDDIN

Why did you choose this course?

Teaching is in my blood as my older
generations, like my late grandfathers,
were teachers at school. Some of my
uncles and aunts are still teaching, and
some are retired teachers. They inspired
me to be better in my time. The
programme taught my friends and I how
to be good teachers, particularly in
teaching science subjects

Associate Professor I realized the programme was fantastic
Department of Chemistry because it was already a multidisciplinary

majoring in science with some educational
subjects. These subjects were designed to
prepare teachers to suit the current
demand and needs. Since that programme

was majoring in science, we learned
subjects in pure science, which was
another opportunity for us. That was how I
ended up with a Master degree and a PhD
in chemistry.

The main highlight of the programme was
science courses, and my main science
subject was chemistry. While the
educational courses consisted of
pedagogy, teaching aids (it was my
favourite subject), psychology and
sociology in a classroom
