Summer Enrichment Programme with
Pukyong National University
By Muhammad Syazani bin Hafiang,
Chief of Buddies, Global Network Club
In a 4 week long Summer Enrichment programme, 6 local
students , known also as the i-smart Buddies, welcomed 25
Korean exchange students to FASS. The programme
focused on fostering English language learning and
communication. Korea students also learnt about Malaysian
culture and heritage through the local i-smart buddies and
through the various trips organized as a part of the
programme. Trip to Jadi Batik and keeping our canting batik as souvenirs!
This programme is interesting and must be continued not
only to highlight Malaysia as a place to hone skills in English
language and communication but also to showcase
Malaysian culture and way of living. The programme also
provides an excellent platform to international student
exchange and development
