3.7 Administrative Information Systems Division (BSMP)

3.7.1 Background

Administrative Information Systems Division, formerly known as Administration Application
Division, was established in 2002. This division is responsible for the development and
maintenance of application systems administration, generally staffs and finance related. This
consists of:

• Human Resource System Section
• Financial System Section

Over the years, Administrative Information Systems Division has helped Responsibility Centre
to automate and perform some administrative processes online. Among the systems
developed to support the needs are:

a) Human Resource Information System

• Staff Leave and Attendance Module
• Online Performance Evaluation Module
• Declaration of Assets Module
• E-Recruitment for job application at UM Module
• Claims Module
• Course Module
• Salary Module
• Student Accounts Module

b) Financial Information System

• Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Accounts Module
• Student Loans Module
• Staff Loans Module
