3.10.2 Functions

• To provide a framework of ICT security to improve the application infrastructure and
services.
• To implement ICT security audit on network hardware, servers and applications.
• To monitor & take preventive action, improvement and management of ICT security
incidents.
• To coordinate ICT service continuity plan (business continuity).
• To implement an audit of the documents for activities related to UM application
development process and perform testing activities on the systems developed by the PTM
system developers’ team.
• To improve ICT acculturation by implementing various training and awareness programs.
• To manage software & software licensing related to teaching and research.
• To manage, maintain and monitor the use of hardware & High Performance Computer
(HPC) operation and Cluster which are located in the Server Room at PTM for the use of the
researchers involved.
• To monitor the activities of ICT management in the City Campus.
