           3.12 ADMINISTRATION OFFICE (PP)

           3.12.1   Background

                   Administrative Office is divided into three major units, namely:

                   •   Holidays and Documents Unit
                   •   Building Maintenance and Inventory Unit
                   •   Procurement and Finance Unit


           3.12.2 Functions

           This office is responsible for administrative matters which include:
                  i)   Implementation of administrative work
                       Help implement the human resources planning, staff appointments, staff leave application,
                       record staff competency, management of students undergoing industrial training at PTM
                       and other related administration.

                  ii)  Building maintenance and inventory recording
                       Ensure that every defective or damage complaint in  PTM is dealt with immediately and
                       inventory of equipment, furniture, IT equipment in PTM and distribution of IT equipment
                       using PTM allocation over campus are recorded.

                   iii)   Implementation of procurement and financial monitoring
                       Manage and monitor expenses so that it does not to exceed the provisions that have been
                       certified and prepare PTM’s annual financial reports. To implement the tender documents
                       and the quotations from suppliers and manage procurement related payments that have
                       been implemented.
