Synopsis Sports and lifestyles have strong relationships and complement
each other. Sports generally promote an active lifestyle despite
having a passive lifestyle in certain sports activities such as e-
sports, chess and some indoor games. The conflict between the
benefits and disadvantages of this sporting lifestyle should be
understood by the community and should be explained by sports

emphasis is more on the influence of sports on the formation of an
active lifestyle. High performance sports, mass sports, recreational
sports, outdoor activities and fitness are five categories of sports
that will be discussed the context of lifestyle. Elements of sports
such as nutrition, mental preparation, risk and safety are also given
attention. The sports lifestyle is a dynamic culture, not only involving
the domain of engagement, but including the domains of sports
                                           enthusiast, volunteerism, expenditure and facilities
