1. Applied and practice the theory of sports management in sports
facility administration
2. Analysing sport facility industry using sport facility software
3. Integrate the skills of administration and facility development,
systems and operation, marketing and sales, finance and
budgeting, legal responsibilities and future assessment of
sports facility
Synopsis The concept of sports facility management will be explained to the
students from several perspective including history and
management. Understanding these perspectives helps administer
and manager to make proper decision in all areas of facility
management. The sport facility’s manager role includes managing
range of facilities, from smaller fitness centre, community sport
clubs, sport and recreation centre of Institution of higher learning to
professional sport stadiums. Sport facilities have created many
types of jobs and encourage cooperation between sports agencies,
communities and governments. Therefore, a comprehensive and
long-term facility planning through providing sport facility proposals,
determining the type of facility, developing objectives, deciding on
the marketing and sales, submitting the budget and implementing a
security plan is important
