                Learning Outcomes           At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                            1.   Measure the physiological adaptation in exercise.
                                            2.   Discuss the acute and chronic responses during training.
                                            3.   Assess the basic physiological adaptation to training and sports performance.
                                            4.   Analyze the relationship between physiological responses  during exercise and
                                                sports performance.
                Synopsis of Course Contents   This  course  covers  the  physiological  responses  during  exercise  and  how  these
                                            reactions affect human physical performance during exercise and sport. In addition, this
                                            course discusses the applied physiological adaptation to prolonged training. Students
                                            also will be exposed to the equipment and laboratory testing used to conduct test on
                                            human physiological responses.

                                            also  discusses  the  effect  of  exercise  on  components  of  quality  of  life,  as  well  as
                                            motivational techniques to encourage participation in the exercise program. The effects
                                            of exercise on specific population groups in society is also discussed in this course.
