Course Learning At the end of the course, students are able to:
Outcomes 1. Analyse the literature review in accordance to the research to be
conducted.
2. Design a research proposal for the chosen topic.
3. Explain the ideas of the intended research
4. Intepret results of statistical tests
Sypnosis The focus of this course is on quantitative and qualitative research methods
and designs. It will emphasise essential concepts of the research process,
ethics, and objective measurement. Students will be taught how to write
research objectives, critically review and interpret literature, choose appropriate
research designs, present data, and discuss findings. Skills such as identifying
correct statistical tests, running the tests, and interpreting test results will also
be taught. These three major skills are important to come to a correct research
conclusion. Besides that, mastery of these three skills are a part of theses and
scientific articles writing. This course will prepare students for their research
project.
