Synopsis of Course This course offers students an introduction to some of the
Contents qualitative and quantitative methods of research. The
course introduces students to empirical research. The
students are guided through the research process from
problem formulation to disseminating research results.
The skills provided focus on problem identification and
hypothesis formulation, concept development,
measurement, data analysis, including computer-based
statistical analysis. Examples/cases given are within the
Asia-Europe context.
