               GIX 1003            Introduction To Peace and     This course discusses the basic concepts of peace  Malay and English

                                                                 fellow students to organise activities/projects which
                                                                 are related to peace and humanities besides giving
                                                                 them opportunities to work in groups to discuss and
                                                                 analyse  current  issues  which  are  related  to  peace
                                                                 and  humanities;  both  locally  and  globally.    All
                                                                 discussions  and  field  work  experiences  will  be
                                                                 presented  and  evaluated  based  on  the  students’
                                                                 creativity, professionalism, communication skills and
                                                                 their leadership skills.


               GIX1004             STEM Appreciation             This  course  exposes  students  to  appreciation  of  Malay and English
                                                                 STEM      (Science,    Technology,     Engineering,
               (2 Credit)          Group MPU: U3                 Mathematics) in their daily lives. Students have the  Continuous
                                                                 opportunities  to  learn  a  few  topics  in  the  field  of  Assessment:100%
                                                                 STEM  such  as  the  different  types  of  activities,
                                                                 experiments  and  related  application.  Students  will
                                                                 be  engaged  in  DIY  development  and  transfer  the
                                                                 knowledge to the community.


               GIG1005             Social Engagement             This  course  exposes  the  students  to  social  Malay and English
                                                                 engagement and their role as volunteers. Students
               (2 Credit)          Group MPU: U3                 need  to  plan  their  social  engagement  programme  Continuous
                                                                 and  will  be  placed  at  a  specific  location  based  on  Assessment:100%
                                                                 their programme. Students are expected to write a
                                                                 report and make a presentation on their experience
                                                                 with the society.
