At the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Describe the scientific investigation characteristics and the
research process.
LEARNING 2. Critique literature from relevant research material.
OUTCOMES 3. Synthesize research questions, objectives, and hypotheses
suitable to research area.
4. Apply appropriate quantitative techniques in conducting
research.
This course introduces the various paradigm in doing
quantitative research. Topics in research process include
theory building, ethical issues, problem definition and
SYNOPSIS hypotheses development will be discussed. Research design
that includes measurement and scaling concepts,
secondary and primary data, sampling technique, and
questionnaire will also be covered in this course.
