Evaluation Format
All courses adopt an assessment system that incorporates coursework and/or
examination. The coursework may include written reports, case analysis, oral
presentation, class participation, journal article review, and term tests.
Graduation Requirements
The total number of credits for the Doctor of Management program must meet the
requirements set by the University and Business Program Standards for coursework
modes, which shall not be less than 81 credits and the minimum duration of study is 6
semesters.
Pass viva and fulfil the publication requirement. Students are required to provide proof
of acceptance of the following prior to graduation:
One (1) publication listed in MyCite or journals approved by the faculty before they
can be awarded the doctoral degree.
Any approved dissertation or part thereof that is subsequently published shall state
clearly that it was submitted for the Doctoral Degree of the University. Throughout his
study, a candidate may with the approval of his supervisor, or the Dean of the Faculty
publish papers of his work provided due reference is made to the University in the
publication.
Grading System
The grading system for all courses is as follows:

80-89 A 4.0 Distinction
75-79 A- 3.7
70-74 B+ 3.3 Pass
65-69 B 3.0
60-64 B- 2.7 Fail
55-59 C+ 2.3
50-54 C 2.0
45-49 C- 1.7
40-44 D+ 1.5
35-39 D 1.0

GUIDELINE ON PLAGIARISM
Prohibition against plagiarism
A candidate shall not plagiarize any idea, writing, data or invention belonging to
another person.
For the purposes of this rule, plagiarism includes –
