CIB2001 ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR 3 Credits
Synopsis:
This course explores the issues of organizational behavior in the context of the work environment of business
organizations. Students will be exposed to a variety of organizational behavior theory. Among the topics to be covered
include group dynamics, negotiation, leadership and organizational politic.

CIB2003 LEGAL ASPECTS OF BANKING 3 Credits
Synopsis:
This course covers the history and development of the banking system in Malaysia and the role of the Bank Negara Malaysia
dan Securities Commission, the legal relationship between banker and customer, the types of account holder, bill of
exchange, cheques and letters of credit. This course also discusses the issue of money laundering, bank’s securities and
principles of Islamic banking. Lastly, there will be discussion on the recent legal developments relating to the banking
industry.

CIC2008 FINANCIAL SERVICES MARKETING 3 Credits
Synopsis:
This course will introduce students to the marketing of financial services which includes the financial institutions such as
investment banks, consumer banks and corporate financial services. The course covers the marketing strategy, value
creation and positioning for financial services in the modern financial organisation. The development of a sustainable
marketing strategy will also be discussed in this course.

CIC2009 TREASURY MANAGEMENT 3 Credits
Synopsis:
Among the topics to be discussed in this course are the development of the treasury management profession, the
organizational aspects of treasury and the main functional areas of treasury (foreign exchange and interest rate risk
management). A significant emphasis will be placed on techniques employed in the solution of practical problems together
with the theories.
