Course Learning At the end of this course, students are able to:

(2) Integrate the concept of green financing and its
importance to global development.
(3) Critically evaluate government policies and interventions
on issues of sustainable finance in selected developed
and developing countries.
Synopsis of Course This course is designed to expose students with the main
Contents analytic debates in the field of sustainable finance.
Reflecting sustainability criteria, especially in areas of
environment, social and governance in financial markets is
gaining attention as opportunities and risks arising are
changing business practices. Key policy and conceptual
debates will also be examined in conjunction with how
development policies and interventions construct
sustainable financing across various countries. Through
various methods of learning in class, students will be given
the knowledge to evaluate the current situation and think of
ways to improve the situation by integrating the financial
market in all aspects of development to achieve economic,
political, and social well-being of the people.
