3 Credits ORGANISATIONS
Course Learning At the end of the course, students are able to:
Outcomes
(1) Critically analyse the relationship between sustainability and
environmental management in business organizations.
(2) Combine systems thinking and life cycle thinking to core
business organizational sustainability strategy and decision-
making.
(3) Organizing and evaluating environmental management
system, policies and programmes for business organization,
ethically and professionally.
Synopsis of Course Modern management and policy leaders, then, need to know
Contents what environmental sustainability is and which tools are
available to improve the footprint of their organizations and
businesses. The course will introduce the students to gain
comprehensive knowledge about various aspects of
organizational sustainability management. It will prepare the
students to design environmental management policies,
programmes and manage them in an organization. Students will
be able to critically evaluate the role of green business, green
supply chain, and product life cycle management in
organizational sustainability. The students will learn, formulate
and apply units of measurements in environmental
management.
Assessment Weightage Continuous Assessment: 70%
Final Examination: 30%
