Learning At the end of the course, the students are able to:
Outcomes
1. explain the function and operation of financial intermediaries;
2. explain the function and operation of financial markets;
3. evaluate the function of a central bank in the financial system.
Synopsis The course is designed to explain the activities involved in the financial sector. In
particular, the course will examine the function and the operation of the financial
markets; financial institutions and central bank’s role in stabilize the financial
system.
