cover social, educational and global problems. These current issues are

Sintaksis Bahasa Cina Moden / Syntax of Modern Chinese
3 kredit/credits

Kursus ini memperkenalkan kepada pelajar tentang konsep asas sintaksis bahasa
Cina, jenis-jenis frasa dan strukturnya, jenis-jenis ayat tunggal dari segi struktur
dan fungsi, komponen ayat tunggal dan cara analisisnya, dan juga jenis-jenis ayat
majmuk.

This course covers the basic concept of Chinese Syntax, different types of phrases
and their structures; different types of simple sentence from the point of function
and structure; different types of complex sentence and the components of a simple
sentence.

Bahasa, Masyarakat dan Budaya Cina / Chinese Language, Society and
Culture

Kursus ini melihat peranan bahasa dalam budaya dan kehidupan komuniti
penuturnya. Tumpuan akan diberi kepada hubungan bahasa dengan persepsi,
adat resam yang melibatkan kepercayaan pantang larang, taboo, sopan santun
dan sebagainya.

This course examines the role of Chinese language in culture and life style among
the community. Emphasis will be given to the relationship between language and
world view, traditional customs which include beliefs, taboos, manners and etc.
