Retorik Bahasa Cina / Rhetoric of Modern Chinese

Dalam kursus ini, konsep asas retorik,tujuan mengkaji retorik bahasa Cina,
pelbagai teknik retorik bahasa Cina akan dibincangkan; pelajar akan didedahkan
kepada analisis penggunaan teknik retorik dalam karya-karya bahasa Cina seperti
prosa dan sajak.
This course covers the basic concept of Chinese Syntax, different types of phrases
and their structures; different types of simple sentence from the point of function
and structure; different types of complex sentence and the components of a simple
sentence.

Leksikal Semantik Bahasa Cina / Lexical Semantic of Chinese Language
3 kredit/credits
Kursus ini memperkenalkan konsep asas ilmu mengenai bentuk kata serta
komponen dan pembangunan perbendaharaan kata bahasa Cina. Semantik
leksikal adalah tumpuan kursus ini dengan meliputi aspek polysemy, kesinoniman,
antonymy dan hyponymy. Evolusi semantik leksikal seperti generalisasi dan
pengkhususan juga dibincangkan.
This course introduces basic concepts in lexicology and the components and
development of Chinese lexicon. Lexical semantics is the focus of this course
covering the aspects of polysemy, synonymy, antonyms and hyponymy. The
evolution of lexical semantics is also discussed such as generalization and
specialization.
